An update and a pledge.

Hi guys,
I haven't written anything in 2 weeks. Yeeeaaaah, sorry about that...

                       

Ahahaha, anyways.

Yeah, I've been settling well into my new job. I'm actually moving out as well at the end of the month. I've found a lovely house share only a 2 minute walk from the office, and a 3 minute walk from the gym, Whoop!

It's awesome. My social life, well, it's under construction, let's put it that way ha ha.

Anyway, that's the update.
Now for the pledge.

Pledge.
As you know, I am on and off when it comes to writing. I have waves of ideas. Well- no more!

 I now am pledging to write, to you guys. Twice a week. One journal entry (minimum) and one post.

So, tonight is Friday, 20th September 2013. In 1 hour 26 minutes it will be exactly a year since it happened. When I first made this blog, I made a pledge to be as open and honest as possible to those who read it, to try and give as accurate an insight as I can into my life- the youngest magician to reach the level of "Consultant Exorcist". How to cope in this life (of magic and madness).

Merlin supposedly once said "With one's head in the clouds, it is difficult to keep one's feet on the ground" I read this in a children's story book, this is when Arthur, as a boy, looks up at Merlin and asks why he chooses not to fly even though he can. Later Merlin says that if your feet leave the ground, they'll never come back. 10 years on from reading that I finally understand what it means. I guess those two lines speak volumes about the duality of our existence. I'll give you an example.
