A course of mysterious events.

Wow, have I been away for some time... again! Well, I guess that's "the job". I thought I'd update you guys on a couple of things going on right now, who knows, maybe you'll find some of it interesting? I'll tell you what, give it a shot reading this, in the voice, of Morgan Freeman! XD Righty, so one of my students in Russia recently underwent her own demonic encounter, they grow up so fast! To be honest, it reminded me of me a little, which probably explains why I didn't get very angry.  She was faced with a demon not only way out of her league but also, she is rather new, and knows very little magic... My immediate response was telling her to walk away now and return in the winter when she is more skilled. At which she refused and figured out, with what little skills she has, how to beat this demon at it's own game. Well, she insisted on me telling her a method of extracting it. The method sounds simple, but in practice it is difficult to pu

The Exorcist who carried out an Exorcism on himself.

Hey Peeps, what up! Hi, so- if you had a look at the title, you'll see that this blog post is rather unusual for my blog (yes *sigh*, even for mine). So, the other day, I am contacted by a Demon, who claimed that it was "The Devil's right hand guy" At this point, of course my BS radar was pinging off. Anyway, I decided to amuse myself and play with it for a bit before "sending it on its way" Now, the lesson here. Which I know, but ignored. Is never  do well... that. Immediately I started sleeping 12 hours a day and by day three I was a depressed, walking zombie among other, much more disturbing symptoms which I shall not share here. That night (last night), I used the Tarot, I used the astral and I self diagnosed myself. Now, I had never done this before but I knew it in theory, to carry out an exorcism on yourself do exactly what you would in any other case, but to yourself. Sounds easy, you try. So there I was, attempting to enter my own mind from

Been Shopping!!!!

Hi Peeps. Guess what day it is, yup- SATURDAY!!!! You know what that means peeps- yup, I'm go shopping! So today, I left work with the intention to go to Treadwell's and buy a good book on Astral Projection- there were none... :'( The good news is though, that Treadwell's is THE most interesting Magic Shop in London in my opinion. Because it is for true magicians. Basically, it accommodates for all levels, so not only is it ultra beginner friendly but also accommodates for the more advanced XD. Basically, Treadwell's is the bomb ! Anyway, so I spent ages wandering their wears, their books, CD's, candles, altar goodies and so on and a couple of things caught my eye. A table top lantern which now, to be honest I really wish I bought- it would've been SO cool on my desk! Back to the point. I actually did buy a new Book of Shadows, great book, nice leather, blank pages, very nice. I actually have a wand already, a nice, 17 inch paduak wand. Thing is, t

The post-chaos era- where are we now and where are we heading?

I remember when I first started studying conventional magic I was about to turn 12 years old, of course I was not concerned then with what would work well for me, but what was everyone else doing??? That was burning question, so that I could actually talk to people about things, be involved etc. Not be that guy who is different but still makes it work (Ironic, that's where I am now ha ha XD). Something else I've noticed is that this is very common among seekers today. Thing is, nowadays, from what I've seen there isn't really any "more popular style". The last "more popular thingy" was chaos magic, and it has not declined at all don't get me wrong ha ha! Thing is, there are now enough people though doing other things for it to no longer be the main stream but it is still very popular. Regardless there are still a few main stream paths. These are basically Ceremonial Magic (Key of Solomon, Kaballa etc.), Shamanism, Chaos Magic (still there!)

When not to use magic PT. 2.

It is rare that I take absences from my beloved projects, one of which being this blog! But I cannot write when I am frustrated and that is just how I was. For the past few days I had some, lets say "family issues" that required my attention. I have a sibling, an incredibly jealous sibling at that, who pretty much makes it his mission to ruin anything nice I have. Do I believe he is doing this consciously? Of course not, that's just ridiculous nonesense to suggest so- but never the less he is doing just that. A lot of my friends do notice this too and often do tell me, some of which are magicians such as myself who constantly query why I do not just make a servitor to "deal with him" or fire off a sygil etc. Well, if you read my last blog post ( here ) you will know why. The reason I write this is because at the time he had done something very outragous and more prevailant against me than any of his usual misdemenours (which I have now learned to hide from o

Magic, when we should not use it.

Wow... yesterday I didn't write an article. I guess life is a tricky thing and sometimes it can get the better of my not so great organization skills :P Anyways... This blog isn't just about exorcists?! My God... what has the world come to! Yes! This blog -although looking at the current post history it might suggest it is- is not just about exorcists. It is about magic too, mainly so! The first (and often most obvious question) to most apprentices with brains (of which there a few :P ) is when should magic be used, and when should it not be used. The thing is, this is a really tricky question that all mages and occultists can relate to, because there is no right answer and there is no wrong answer. It depends a lot upon personal philosophy. Some people will use magic only when it is absolutely necessary and there is no other option in a given situation. Others will use magic all the time to fix every single problem in their life. Both have their pro's and con's
